For certain kinds of prescription drugs, members can use our preferred mail order service – Express Scripts Pharmacy. Generally, the drugs available through mail order are drugs taken on a regular basis for a chronic or long-term medical condition. Drugs NOT available at our mail order service are marked as “NM” (not mailed) on the member’s plan’s List of Drugs (Formulary).
The Express Scripts website offers members the ability to sign up for home delivery, track an order, request a prescription transfer from a retail pharmacy and talk to a pharmacist 24/7.
Our preferred mail order service allows members to:
- Order up to a 100-day supply of drugs (excluding our Specialty Tier 5)
- Enjoy free standard shipping, safely and discreetly to their door
- Save time and make fewer trips to the pharmacy
Usually, members can expect to receive their drugs within 10-14 days from the time the mail order service receives their order. It is recommended that members contact the pharmacy 21 days before their current prescription will run out. This will ensure their order is shipped in time. If, at any time, their mail order is delayed, the member can contact the Express Scripts Pharmacy or Ikontak Dakami.
Members may register for our preferred Mail Order Service one of the following ways:
- Phone: Express Scripts Pharmacy at 1-833-750-0201 (TTY: 711) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Online: express-scripts.com/rx
- Mail: Complete the Express Scripts Pharmacy mail order form found at express-scripts.com/rx
Our preferred mail order service can give members peace of mind knowing they’ll have the drugs they need—when they need them.
